Curriculum

A six-week structure built around real work moments

Each student begins with an initial assessment, then moves through a focused program of speaking practice, workplace role-plays, presentation exercises, and revision between sessions.

Week 1 — Assessment and speaking baseline

Students complete an initial assessment and live speaking check so the cohort can focus on the situations that feel hardest in meetings, interviews, and updates.

Week 2 — Work conversations and role-plays

Practice short, realistic conversations for project updates, clarifying questions, and responding clearly when you need time to think.

Week 3 — Presentations with feedback

Work through presentation exercises, pacing, and structure. You’ll receive personal feedback and a recorded lesson you can revisit later.

Week 4 — Meetings, interruptions, and follow-ups

Build confidence speaking up in group settings, managing interruptions, and following up with concise next steps.

Week 5 — Interviews and high-pressure answers

Rehearse interview-style answers, structure responses under pressure, and practise sounding clear without memorising scripts.

Week 6 — Final rehearsal and next steps

Finish with a final speaking review, a presentation rehearsal, and a practical plan for maintaining momentum after the cohort ends.

Student journeys

Narrative practice that feels close to real life

The program is designed around the situations working professionals face most often — not abstract exercises. Each story below shows how the learning experience moves from uncertainty to clarity.

Meetings

Maria started speaking earlier

Maria understood everything in meetings but waited too long to speak. After role-plays and repeated revision, she began joining discussions with shorter, clearer points.

Presentations

Omar stopped translating on the fly

Omar could prepare slides, but speaking in English felt slow. The combination of presentation exercises and personal feedback helped him build a smoother delivery.

Interviews

Nadia answered with more structure

Nadia wanted to sound more natural in interviews. By practising under time pressure, she learned to answer directly, add detail, and stay calm when a question felt unexpected.

Faculty

Teachers who coach clear, confident communication

SpeakForward is built around live guidance, practical feedback, and revision-friendly lessons. The teaching team below reflects the kind of support professionals need when they’re already fluent, but want to sound more confident.
